Sophie is a master student in Sports physiotherapy at the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences (NIH). She is enrolled in a video analysis project with the Oslo Sports Trauma Reserach Centre (OSTRC). She will be doing an analysis of injuries occurring in World Cup snowboarders.
Sophie completed a BSc Physiotherapy at the Fontys University, Eindhoven, The Netherlands in 2003. Lately she has been working as a physiotherapist in a private practice. During this time she has been working as a physiotherapist for students at a sports college and for a women’s football (soccer) team.
Sophie has previously worked as an alpine trainer for young children and now works as an instructor at a gym. She has a background as an alpine skier. She now enjoys alpine- and telemark skiing as well as snowboarding at a recreational level.
