Top scientists meet in Monaco

On thursday April 7th, HSH  Prince Albert II of Monaco opened “The IOC World Conference on Prevention of Injury & Illness in Sport". OSTRCs scientists make their mark.

In the impressive Grimaldi Forum, in the middle of beautiful Monaco, the conference that gathers the worlds leading scientists and practitioners in sports medicine kicked off.

 

It was to be a grand opening where HSH Prince Albert II and the chairman of IOCs Medical Commission Arne Ljungqvist adressed the delegates. 

 

 

Only the best

Close to a thousand scientists and practitioners from all over the world meet up to present their research and to learn from eachother. Thirteen scientists from OSTRC are in the programme.

 

- The programme has come together by scientists from all over the world proposing topics and lecturers, and there is only room for the best. But the result is first class, says the chairman of the scientific commitee, Professor Roald Bahr.

 

A wide range of topics will be covered during the three day conference in Monaco, with 94 lecturers being invited. A melting pot of scientists from all over the world have a unique opportunity to share their research and take part in fruitful discussions.
