Lars Nordsletten MD PhD is professor of sports medicine at Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center and the Department of Sports Medicine at the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences. He is chair of the Orthopaedic Centre, Oslo University Hospital, Ullevål and head of the Experimental Orthopaedic group at the Institute for Surgical Research, Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet.

Lars also holds a clinical appointment at the Department of Sports Medicine at the Olympic Training Center. He has published more than 120 papers including in N Eng J Med og BMJ. His research is primarily focused on sports injury prevention in snow sports, hip problems and osteoporosis.
